Creating ovarian cancer awareness…one bead at a time.

Jewels for Joni is a volunteer group of 13 Connecticut women who lovingly create one-of-a-kind, hand-made artistic bracelets in memory of Joan McCabe, a seven-year survivor of ovarian cancer who lost her battle in April 2010. Since her diagnosis, Joan's mission was to teach women everywhere of the elusive symptoms of ovarian cancer. She did this by making bracelets, combining opportunities to sell and educate, and donating the proceeds back to ovarian cancer research and awareness funds.

Today, family and friends continue her mission, offering these unique Jewels for Joni bracelets in a variety of colors, each one decorated with a teal crystal charm to carry the ovarian cancer awareness ribbon color. Each bracelet also comes with an ovarian cancer information card to share the vital, yet vague symptoms of this silent killer. Jewels for Joni donates 100% of our profits.
